The Industrial Perforators Association is comprised of North American Manufacturers of perforated materials. It began more than 50 years ago with its main mission and objective: to perpetuate and increase the market for perforated materials. The Association develops and provides programs and activities to further these objectives.

The IPA conducts studies, research on applications, handles trade inquiries and promotes activities designed to broaden the industry's markets and create wider appreciation of its products and services. It also prepares fair and useful industry standards and tolerances and revises them when it is technologically feasible.

The Members of the IPA are highly specialized in perforating techniques and they attempt to keep up with state-of-the-art equipment. To qualify for Regular Membership, any individual, partnership or corporation must be located in the United States, it's territories and possessions, Canada or Mexico, and must be engaged in the manufacture of perforated materials and have significant sales of perforated materials to manufacturers, distributors and other consumers of perforated material. An International Member must be located outside of the area mentioned above and must qualify in all other activities. A Supplier Associate Member is defined as any individual, partnership or corporation engaged in the manufacture and sale of products supplied to the perforating industry.
